Goodnight Mister Tom: "Themes" SEER paragraph

In Goodnight Mister Tom, many relationships have formed, some being of friendship, some of comradeship, and some of love.
From the time that Willie was evacuated to meeting Mister Tom, Zach, George and Carrie, he has interacted and formed good relationships with all of them. Willie and Tom have been bonding ever since the start of Goodnight Mister Tom, slowly changing from an unwilling old man and a timid evacuee to a father figure and a son.
Now that Willie is beginning to open up to and form relationships with people it seems that his future will become brighter and happier, hopefully ending with a well-deserved happy ending.
